Social distancing sometimes called physical distancing is a term that refers to keeping distance between yourself and other individuals outside your house at around a distance of two meters. Coronavirus spreads through viral droplets in the air, most commonly between persons who are in close proximity.

Coronavirus can spread when someone talks or sneezes, for example. And even if you don't feel sick, you can make others sick. The COVID-19 virus particles can last for hours or days on some surfaces--no one knows exactly how long--depending on factors such as temperature, humidity, or sunlight (UV rays). Hiring highly skilled professionals to design outdoor space which accounts for social distancing is a good idea.

The phrase “social distancing” has become part of our everyday language since the pandemic began. And although the risk of transmission drops when people are outside, there is a still a risk. Now, those who design outdoor areas are much more aware of social distancing. It is important that  outdoor areas are designed to be more spacious than we used to design them.

Being outside is good for everyone. It feels good, and it is good for your mental health. It's just critical that new outdoor areas are designed with COVID-19 rules and regulations in mind. Allowing for better social distancing outside is a benefit for general public health. This distancing reduces transmission of the virus. And if you are going to go inside, then please make sure to stay six feet away from other people and wear a mask around others.
